Ingredients
For the Salmon:
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lemon (sliced for garnish)
For the Lemon Dill Sauce:
- 1 package Bear Hug Foods Delicious Dill Dip Mix
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill (optional for extra freshness)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Lemon Dill Sauce:
- In a bowl, combine the Delicious Dill Dip Mix, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
- Mix well and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
2. Prepare the Salmon:
Option 1: Baking
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is flaky and cooked through.
- Optional: Broil for 1-2 minutes at the end for a slightly crispy top.
Option 2: Grilling
- Preheat the grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grates.
- Brush salmon with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Grill for 4-6 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until salmon is cooked through.
3. Serve:
- Place the cooked salmon on a plate and drizzle with the chilled lemon dill sauce.
- Garnish with fresh dill and lemon slices.
- Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
